Issue
In the steering system, the geometry of the steering gear box at the steering yoke coupling is improperly designed, which may cause play to develop at that junction. If use continues in this condition, the steering yoke will wear. In the worst case, steering control may be lost entirely.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the steering gear box with a corrected/revised part and replace the steering yoke with a new part.

状況
かじ取り装置において、ステアリングギアボックスのステアリングヨーク連結部の形状が不適切なため、当該連結部にガタが生じるおそれがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ステアリングヨークが摩耗し、最悪の場合、かじ取り操作ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ステアリングギアボックスを対策品及びステアリングヨークを新品と交換する。
