Issue
In the power transmission unit, the third-gear shaft has insufficient strength, which may cause a crack to develop in the shaft. Continued use allows the crack to propagate. In the worst case, the third-gear shaft may fracture, causing the vehicle to coast with no drive force and rendering it unable to move after coming to a stop.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the differential case with a corrected part.

状況
動力伝達装置において、サードギヤのシャフト部の強度が不足しているため、当該シャフトに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該シャフトの亀裂が進行し、最悪の場合、サードギヤのシャフトが破断し、惰性走行状態となり、車両停止後に発進不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、デファレンシャルケースを対策品と交換する。
