Defect

On fuel delivery pipes, an improper tightening tool was used to fasten the fuel pressure sensor. During tightening, the tool interfered with surrounding components, resulting in insufficient fastening force on some units. The resulting poor seal at the fastening joint may cause a fuel odor or a fuel leak.

Corrective action

On all affected vehicles, replace the gasket with a new one and properly torque the fuel pressure sensor to the specified value.
