Defect

On LPG forklifts equipped with a heater, the heater pipe hose clamp is installed at an incorrect angle. Vibration during engine start or tilt relief operation may cause the LPG pipe to contact the hose clamp. This contact may damage the LPG pipe and result in an LPG leak.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, inspect the LPG pipe and replace it with a new part if damage is found. Adjust the hose clamp to the correct installation angle to ensure adequate clearance between the LPG pipe and the hose clamp.
