Defect
Investigation of field-returned driver-side airbag inflators conducted by another manufacturer revealed significant variation in the density of the gas generant. Although the root cause has not been determined, the airbag may fail to deploy normally during a deployment event.
Corrective action
As a precautionary measure, all vehicles are included under notification no. 3565, dated May 14, 2015. Driver-side airbag inflators are replaced with new units in order from oldest model year.

状況
運転者席用エアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）において、他社で市場回収品を調査した結果、ガス発生剤の密度にばらつきが大きいものを確認した。このため、原因は判明していないが、エアバッグ展開時に正常に展開しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、予防的措置として、平成２７年５月１４日付け、届出番号「３５６５」に含め、運転者席用エアバッグのインフレータを年式の古いものから新品と順次交換する。
