Defect
During the manufacturing process of the engine crankshaft angle sensor, the coil winding operation is improperly performed. This may cause the coil to develop a broken wire during service use. As a result, the engine may stall while driving or may fail to start.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the crankshaft angle sensor with a conforming unit.
