Defect
In the automated mechanical transmissions fitted to light trucks and buses, internal cleaning of the hydraulic circuit component (valve body) during manufacturing was inadequate, leaving foreign matter inside the circuit on some units. This causes the clutch control hydraulic valves to malfunction, producing shift shock and shift faults. In the worst case, the engine stalls during deceleration and vehicle stop, or the transmission locks in neutral and the vehicle cannot move off.
Corrective action
Flush the hydraulic circuit on all vehicles.

状況
小型トラック・バスの機械式自動変速機において、油圧回路部品（バルブボディ）製造時の内部洗浄が不適切なため、異物が回路内に残留しているものがある。そのため、クラッチ制御用油圧バルブの作動不良が生じて、変速ショックや変速不良等が発生し、最悪の場合、車両減速停止する際等にエンストしたり、ギヤ段のニュートラル固定により発進できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、油圧回路の洗浄を実施する。
