Defect

On the high-pressure fuel pipe between the engine's fuel rail and the injectors, the injector-side mounting nut was improperly tightened during assembly, resulting in insufficient torque on certain vehicles. Engine vibration may cause the nut to loosen, allowing fuel to leak.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, tighten the affected nut to the specified torque value.

状況

 エンジンのコモンレールとインジェクター間の高圧燃料パイプにおいて、インジェクター側取付ナットの締付方法が不適切なため、当該ナットの締付トルクが不足しているものがある。そのため、エンジン振動によって当該ナットが緩み、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該ナットを規定トルクで締付ける。
