Defect
On the automatic transmission fitted to small buses, improper machining of the snap ring groove that retains clutch components allows the snap ring to disengage. When this occurs, the clutch can no longer transmit torque. In the worst case, the vehicle becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the automatic transmission serial number and replace any affected transmission with a non-defective unit.

状況
小型バスの自動変速機において、クラッチ構成部品を固定するスナップリングの装着部の機械加工が不適切なため、スナップリングが外れ、クラッチでのトルク伝達ができなくなり、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、自動変速機の製造番号を確認し、該当するものは良品に交換する。
