Defect
The amber lens of the rear combination lamp turn signal has insufficient weather resistance. Prolonged exposure to intense sunlight may gradually cause the amber color to fade. If a white bulb continues to be used with a faded lens, the light color of the turn signal may no longer conform to Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the turn signal bulb with an amber bulb and affix a label to the rear of the rear combination lamp specifying that amber bulbs must be used going forward. Due to parts supply lead time, all owners will be notified of the lens fading condition and the remedy will be completed as soon as parts become available.

状況
リヤコンビネーションランプの方向指示器の橙色レンズの耐候性が不十分なため、長期間にわたり強い日射にさらされると徐々にレンズの橙色が褪色することがある。そのため、そのまま白色バルブの使用を続けると、当該灯火の灯光の色が保安基準に適合しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該方向指示器のバルブを橙色バルブと交換するとともに、以後は橙色バルブを使用する旨のラベルをリヤコンビネーションランプ裏面に貼付する。なお、部品の供給に時間を要することから、全使用者へ当該レンズの褪色現象について周知し、準備でき次第措置する。
