Defect
The mounting bolts for the back door stay were insufficiently torqued during assembly on some vehicles. Repeated door opening and closing may cause these bolts to loosen. Continued use in this condition may allow the stay mounting to detach, leaving the back door unable to be held in the open position.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the back door stay mounting bolts with adhesive-type bolts and tighten them to the specified torque. If the nuts at the stay mounting point have come loose, replace the nuts as well.

状況
2)バックドアステー取付けボルトの締付けトルクが不足しているものがあるため、ドアの開閉によって当該ボルトが緩む場合がある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ステー取付け部が外れて、バックドアを保持できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
2)全車両、バックドアステーの取付けボルトを接着剤付きボルトに変更し、規定トルクで締付ける。なお、バックドアステー取付け部のナットが外れている場合はナットも交換する。
