Defect

During the manufacturing process, the back door alignment on some vehicles was not properly adjusted, and the engagement angle between the door lock and door striker was also designed incorrectly. As a result, the door may not close securely. Continued use in this condition may cause the door lock engagement to release, allowing the door to open while driving and cargo to fall from the vehicle.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, adjust the back door alignment and replace the door lock and door striker with corrected parts.

状況

1)製造工程において、バックドアの建付け調整が不十分なものがあり、ドアロックとドアストライカーの噛み合い角の設計も不適切なため、ドアが確実に閉まらない場合がある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ドアロックの噛み合いが外れて、走行中にドアが開き、積載物が落下するおそれがある。

改善措置

1)全車両、バックドアの建付けを調整するとともに、ドアロックとドアストライカーを対策品と交換する。
