Defect
Terminals inside the electrical connector for the headlights and horn are misaligned on some vehicles. This causes the terminal joints to generate heat and melt the plastic connector. In the worst case, melted plastic fuses to the terminals, causing a poor electrical connection that results in headlight failure and horn malfunction.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add a sub-harness to bridge the affected terminals.

状況
電気装置において、前照灯及び警音器の電気配線カプラ内の端子の位置がずれたものがあ るため、当該端止結合部が発熱して樹脂製のカプラが溶損し、最悪の場合、溶損した樹脂 が端子に溶着して導通不良となり、前照灯の不灯及び警音器の作動不良に至るおそれがあ る。
改善措置
全車両、当該端子間にサブハーネスを追加結線する
