Defect
The reclining angle adjustment gear (sector gear) of the rear seat back is machined to an oversize dimension, reducing the holding force of the cam that locks the reclining position. As a result, an impact or similar force may cause the seat back to collapse forward.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the rear seat back frame assembly is replaced with a conforming unit.
