Defect
On turbocharged vehicles, the exhaust manifold is made of an inappropriate material. Repeated operation on steep grades causes thermal expansion and contraction cycles that may crack the manifold, allowing exhaust gas to leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the exhaust manifold assembly with the corrected part.

状況
ターボチャージャ付車両において、エキゾーストマニホールドの材質が不適切なため、登坂路走行を頻繁に繰り返し行うと、熱による膨張・収縮で亀裂が生じ、排出ガスが漏れるものがある。
改善措置
全車両、エキゾーストマニホールド一式を対策品と交換する。
