Defect
The propellant in the driver-side SRS airbag inflator is defective. When the airbag deploys, abnormally high pressure builds inside the inflator, rupturing the housing and scattering metal fragments. Occupants may be injured by the ejected components.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the driver-side SRS airbag inflator with a conforming unit.

状況
運転者席側ＳＲＳエアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）内のガス発生剤に不適切なものがあるため、エアバッグが展開した場合、インフレータ内圧の異常な上昇で容器が破損して構成部品が飛散し、乗員が負傷するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、運転者席側ＳＲＳエアバッグのインフレータを良品と交換する。
