Defect
Improper press forming of the link mechanism that transfers operation from the left-side sliding door interior handle causes the mechanism to bind and fail to return fully after the sliding door is opened from inside the cabin. As a result, closing the sliding door leaves the door latch in the open position and, in the worst case, the left-side sliding door may open while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the left-side sliding door link mechanism assembly with a conforming part.

状況
左側スライドドアの車室内ハンドルの操作を伝達するリンク機構のプレス成型が不適切なため、リンク機構が円滑に作動せず、車室内からスライドドアを開けた後、リンク機構の一部が戻らないものがある。そのため、スライドドアを閉めてもドアラッチが開放状態のままとなり、最悪の場合、走行中に左側スライドドアが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、左側スライドドアのリンク機構一式を良品と交換する。
