Issue
The drain hole position on the throttle housing mounted to the handlebar is incorrectly located, allowing water introduced during washing or similar activity to accumulate inside the housing and migrate into the throttle cable. Continued use allows the inner wire inside the throttle cable to rust, making throttle operation increasingly heavy. In the worst case, engine speed may fail to decrease when the throttle is released.
Corrective action
Replace the throttle cable assembly on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
ハンドルに取付けたスロットルハウジングの排水孔位置が不適切なため、洗車等によりハウジング内に溜まった水がスロットルケーブル内部に浸入して滞留するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、スロットルケーブル内のインナワイヤが錆びてスロットル操作が重くなり、最悪の場合、エンジンの回転が下がらなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、スロットルケーブル一式を対策品と交換する。
