Defect
The crimp processing on the front latch shaft of the right slide door is improperly assembled, causing the latch to operate with excessive resistance. If the latch is displaced downward during cleaning or similar contact, the return spring may lack sufficient force to restore it to the proper position. If the door is then closed in this condition, the latch strikes the striker and the door cannot be fully closed.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the right slide door front latch assembly with a non-defective unit.

状況
①右スライドドアの前側ラッチシャフトの加締め加工が不適切なため、ラッチの作動に渋りがあり、清掃等でラッチに触れて下がると、ラッチを戻すスプリングの力で戻らなくなるものがある。そのため、その状態でドアを閉めるとラッチがストライカーに当たり、ドアを閉められなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、右スライドドアの前側ラッチ一式を良品と交換する。
