Defect
The harness connector combination used in the cabin heater is improperly matched. Over time, oxidation develops at the connector terminals, generating heat. Continued use in this condition may cause the connector to burn. In the worst case, this can result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, remove the affected wiring connector and convert the connection to a direct hard-wire configuration.

状況
車室暖房用ヒータにおいて、ハーネスコネクタの組合せが不適切なため、経年劣化してハ ーネスコネクタの端子部に酸化物が発生し、発熱するものがある。そのため、そのままの 状態で使用を続けると、コネクタが焼損し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該配線コネクタを除去して、直結接続に変更する。
