Defect
An inadequate plating process during fuel pipe manufacturing results in insufficient plating thickness on the pipe surface. Continued use causes the fuel pipe to corrode and, in the worst case, perforate, allowing fuel to leak.
Corrective action
Replace the fuel pipe on all vehicles with a conforming part.

状況
燃料配管製造時のメッキ工程が不適切なため、配管表面のメッキ厚が不十分なものがあ る。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該燃料配管が腐食し、最悪の場合、 穴があき燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該燃料配管を良品に交換する。
