Defect
The shift cable connecting the transmission to the shift lever was routed improperly during assembly. Repeated shift operations subject the cable to excessive bending stress, which may cause it to fracture. If the cable fractures, gear selection becomes impossible.
Corrective action
Replace the shift cable on all vehicles with the corrected part and reroute the cable to the correct path.

状況
変速機とシフトレバーを連結するシフトケーブルの取りまわしに不適切なものがあり、 そのままの状態で使用を続けると、シフト操作の繰り返しによりシフトケーブルが折損し 、変速操作ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、シフトケーブルを対策品と交換し、シフトケーブルの取りまわしを変更する。
