Defect
This defect applies to wheelchair-accessible mobility vehicles produced by lowering the rear floor through modifications to the floor structure and suspension of the base vehicle. In the fuel system, the modified body end section is improperly shaped, causing the fuel filler pipe to contact the body edge. In the worst case, vibration during vehicle operation may damage the filler pipe, resulting in a fuel leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reshape the body end section and replace the filler pipe with a corrected part that includes an added protector at the interference location.

状況
標準車の床部及び緩衝装置を改造し、後部フロアを下げることにより車いすでの乗降に適 した車両とした福祉車両の ②燃料装置において、改造したボデー端部の形状が不適切なため、燃料給油パイプがボデ ー端部と干渉し、最悪の場合、走行中の振動等により給油パイプが損傷し、燃料が漏れ るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、次の改善措置を実施する。 ②ボデー端部を修正すると共に、干渉部位にプロテクターを追加した対策品の給油パイプ に交換する。
