Defect
In the engine control computer, the threaded holes for the circuit board mounting screws are machined to an improper shape. Vibration during driving may cause the screws to back out, allowing a loose screw to short circuit the internal electrical circuit and cause engine malfunction. In the worst case, the engine may stall and fail to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the serial number of the affected computer and replace it with a known-good unit.

状況
原動機の制御コンピュータにおいて、コンピュータ内部の基盤取付け用ビスのねじ穴の 加工形状が不適切なため、走行時の振動によりビスが外れ、当該ビスがコンピュータ内の 電気回路でショートを引き起こしてエンジン不調となるものがあり、最悪の場合、エンス トし、再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該コンピュータの製造番号を確認し、良品と交換する。
