Defect
During fuel system airtightness inspection, pressure exceeding the specified test value was applied to the fuel tank, causing deformation on some units. As a result, when ambient temperatures are high in summer and the vehicle is parked for an extended period on a steep incline with a full tank of fuel, excessive fuel may flow from the fuel tank into the canister. This may cause fuel to leak from the canister.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fuel tank with a conforming unit.

状況
燃料系統の気密検査において、燃料タンクに通常の検査圧力を超える圧力がかかったため 、燃料タンクが変形したものがある。そのため、夏場の外気温度が高い時に、燃料を満タ ンにした状態で急な斜面に長時間駐車等をした場合、燃料タンクからキャニスター内に燃 料が過剰に流入し、キャニスターから燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクを良品と交換する。
