Defect

The seat belt buckles on the driver and front passenger seats contain an improperly machined latch fitting. Under the extreme loads generated in a collision, the belt may release and fail to restrain the occupant.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the driver and front passenger seat belt buckles with corrected parts.

状況

運転者席及び助手席の座席ベルトにおいて、ベルトバックル内の噛み合い金具の加工 形状に不適切なものがあるため、衝突等で極端に大きな荷重を受けた場合、ベルトが外れ て乗員を拘束できなくなるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、運転者席及び助手席の座席ベルトバックルを良品と交換する。
