Defect
In the interior heater, the quick connector joining the heater unit pipe to the heater hose may not be fully seated. Continued use may cause the connector to separate, allowing engine coolant to leak and the engine to overheat. In the worst case, the vehicle becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the heater unit pipe-to-hose connector for proper engagement and secure the connection fully.

状況
②室内ヒータにおいて、ヒータユニットのパイプとヒータホースを接続する継手部の嵌合 が不十分なものがあるため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該継手部のクイックコ ネクタが抜けてエンジン冷却水が漏れ、オーバーヒートし、最悪の場合、走行不能に至る おそれがある。
改善措置
②全車両、当該継手部の嵌合状態を点検し、確実に接続する。
