Defect

In the suspension system, the combination of the front coil spring seat and the coil spring is incorrect, causing the coil spring to contact the seat. Continued use wears away the spring's paint coating, allowing rust to form and the spring to fracture. In the worst case, the fractured spring contacts the tire and damages it, rendering the vehicle inoperable.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, the coil spring is replaced with a corrected part, and an anti-rust plate (zinc plate) is installed between the spring and the front coil spring seat.

状況

(2)緩衝装置において、フロントコイルスプリングシートとコイルスプリングの組合せが不適切なため、コイルスプリングが当該シートと干渉するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該スプリングの塗装が剥がれて錆が発生し、折損することがあり、最悪の場合、折損したスプリングとタイヤが干渉し、タイヤが損傷して、走行不能に至るおそれがある。

改善措置

(2)全車両、コイルスプリングを対策品と交換するとともに当該スプリングの防錆プレート(亜鉛製プレート)を当該スプリングとフロントコイルスプリングシートの間に装着する。
