Defect
In the front suspension, the bolts clamping the strut to the steering knuckle were insufficiently torqued on some vehicles. Continued use under these conditions — including driving over bumps or raised road surfaces — may cause the strut to pull free from the knuckle. In the worst case, the driver loses steering control and the vehicle becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected bolts with new parts. Where the bolts show damage, replace the knuckle as well.

状況
前輪懸架装置において、ストラットとナックルを締結するボルトの締付け力が不足して いるものがあるため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、段差乗り越え等の突起路面を走 行した際に、最悪の場合、ストラットがナックルから抜け、ハンドルが取られ、走行不能 に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ボルトを新品と交換する。また、当該ボルトが損傷しているものは、ナッ クルを新品と交換する。
