Defect

The piston cup material inside the clutch master cylinder is incorrect, causing the piston cup to wear prematurely. Continued use results in a sealing failure and a drop in clutch hydraulic pressure. In the worst case, the clutch fails to disengage and the vehicle becomes inoperable.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, the clutch master cylinder is replaced with a corrected part.

状況

(1)クラッチマスターシリンダー内のピストンカップの材質が不適切なため、当該ピストンカップが早期に摩耗することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、シール不良となり、クラッチの液圧が低下するものがあり、最悪の場合、クラッチが切れなくなり走行不能となるおそれがある。

改善措置

(1)全車両、クラッチマスターシリンダーを対策品と交換する。
