Defect
In the fuel system, the plastic nut securing the fuel pump unit to the fuel tank was improperly torqued during assembly, causing some nuts to be threaded on at an angle. Continued operation in this condition allows fuel to leak from the pump unit mounting area when the tank is full. In the worst case, a vehicle fire may occur.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, loosen and remove the plastic nut, then retorque it to the specified value.

状況
①燃料装置において、燃料ポンプユニットを燃料タンクに固定する樹脂製ナットの締付け が不適切なため、当該ナットを斜めに締付けたものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続け ると、燃料満タン時に当該燃料ポンプユニット取付け部から燃料が漏れ、最悪の場合、火 災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、当該樹脂製ナットを緩めて外し、再締付けを行う。
