Defect
These are wheelchair-accessible vehicles converted from standard production vehicles by lowering the rear floor and modifying the suspension. In the fuel system, the shape of the modified body edge is improperly designed, causing the fuel filler pipe to contact the body edge. Continued use allows driving vibration to damage the filler pipe. In the worst case, fuel may leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, perform the following: (2) Reshape the body edge and replace the filler pipe with a corrected/revised part that incorporates an additional protector at the interference point.

状況
標準車の床部及び緩衝装置を改造し、後部フロアを下げることにより車いすでの乗降に適 した車両とした福祉車両の ②燃料装置において、改造したボデー端部の形状が不適切なため、燃料給油パイプがボデ ー端部と干渉し、最悪の場合、走行中の振動等により給油パイプが損傷し、燃料が漏れ るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、次の改善措置を実施する。 ②ボデー端部を修正すると共に、干渉部位にプロテクターを追加した対策品の給油パイプ に交換する。
