Defect
During the manufacturing process of the electrical wiring inside the instrument panel, improper processing of the terminal sections has caused damage to the wiring. As a result, the wiring may develop a broken wire, and in the worst case, the engine may stall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the serial number of the affected electrical wiring and replace any identified wiring with a conforming part.
