Defect
In the electrical system, some terminals inside the wiring connectors for the headlights and horn are incorrectly dimensioned. Continued use in this condition can cause the terminal joints to overheat, melting the plastic connector body. In the worst case, the melted plastic may fuse to the terminals and cause a loss of continuity, resulting in headlight failure and horn malfunction.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add a sub-harness bridging the affected terminals.

電気装置において、前照灯及び警音器の電気配線カプラー内の端子に寸法が不適切なもの があるため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該端子結合部が発熱して樹脂製のカプ ラーが溶損し、最悪の場合、溶損した樹脂が端子に溶着して導通不良となり、前照灯の不 灯及び警音器の作動不良に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該端子間にサブハーネスを追加結線する。
