Defect
On certain vehicles, the turn signal and related switch unit below the steering column was installed out of its correct position. During steering operation, the electrical wiring of the switch unit may detach and, in the worst case, cause a short circuit leading to a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
Inspect the installation condition of the switch unit on all vehicles. Replace any incorrectly installed switch unit with a new part.

状況
かじ取りハンドル下部にある方向指示器等の操作スイッチユニットに正規の位置からずれ た状態で取り付けられたものがあるため、ハンドル操作時に当該操作スイッチユニットの 電気配線が外れ、最悪の場合、短絡して火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該操作スイッチユニットの取付け状態を点検し、不良なものは当該操作スイッ チユニットを新品と交換する。
