Issue

On light trucks, the impact beam inside the driver's side door panel was improperly manufactured, resulting in some units being assembled with an impact beam that has a defective weld at the rear bracket. This reduces the structural strength of the driver's side door and, in the worst case, may compromise occupant safety in a collision.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, the driver's side door panel is replaced with a conforming unit.

状況

 小型トラックにおいて、運転席側ドアパネル内のインパクトビームの製造が不適切なため、後側ブラケットに溶接不良があるインパクトビームを組付けたものがある。そのため、運転席側ドアが強度不足となり、最悪の場合、衝突時の安全性が損なわれるおそれがある。

改善措置

 全車両、運転席側のドアパネルを良品に交換する。
