Defect
On the door latch of the right-side passenger door, improper manufacturing of component parts has produced parts with dimensional tolerances outside specification. At elevated temperatures, the locking mechanism may operate sluggishly, preventing the door from latching securely. In the worst case, the door may open while the vehicle is in service.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the right-side door latch with a conforming part (sliding door latches are excluded). Because replacement parts require time to prepare, owners will be notified of the defect and advised to exercise caution until parts are available for replacement.

状況
右側乗降扉のドアラッチにおいて、構成部品の製造が不適切なため、部品の精度が規格を外れているものがあり、気温が高くなるとロック機構の動きが悪くなることがある。そのため、乗降扉が確実にロックされず、最悪の場合、運行中に乗降扉が開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、右側ドアラッチを良品と交換する。（除くスライドドアラッチ）なお、交換用部品の準備に時間を要するため、使用者に不具合内容を通知し注意喚起のうえ、部品準備が整い次第交換する。
