Issue
The shape of the side cover mounted on the right side of the engine compartment is incorrect, allowing water thrown up during rain driving to contact the power steering pump drive belt. This causes the belt to slip and, in the worst case, reduces power steering assist and increases steering effort.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the side cover with the corrected part.

状況
エンジンルーム右側に装着されているサイドカバーの形状が不適切なため、雨天走行時等に跳ね上げた水がパワーステアリングポンプ駆動ベルトにかかることがある。そのため、当該ベルトがスリップし、最悪の場合、パワーステアリングのアシストが損なわれ、ハンドルの操作力が増大するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、サイドカバーを対策品と交換する。
