Issue

On LPG vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, the fuel delivery setting of the vaporizer (LPG fuel vaporization unit) is incorrect. During a sharp left turn, if the driver releases the accelerator and disengages the clutch, the fuel supply may be insufficient. In the worst case, the engine may stall while the clutch remains disengaged, increasing steering effort. Re-engaging the clutch recovers the engine and returns the vehicle to normal operation.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, inspect the vaporizer identification marking. If an uncorrected unit is installed, replace it with a corrected part.
