Defect

On large buses equipped with mixer-type CNG engines, the accelerator cable is routed improperly, leaving insufficient clearance between the cable and the oil pressure hose or power steering hose. Continued operation allows vibration during driving to damage the oil pressure hose or power steering hose. In the worst case, the oil pressure gauge may become inoperative, or power steering fluid may leak, causing steering effort to become excessively high.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, a securing bracket is added to the accelerator cable and its routing is revised. The oil pressure hose is also replaced with a corrected part.

状況

②ミキサー式CNGエンジンを搭載した大型バスのアクセルケーブルの取り廻しが不適切なため、オイルプレッシャーホース又はパワーステアリングホースと当該ケーブルとの隙間が不十分なものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、走行時の振動等によりオイルプレッシャーホース又はパワーステアリングホースが損傷し、最悪の場合、オイルゲージが作動しなくなる、又は、パワーステアリングオイルが漏れステアリングの操舵力が過大となるおそれがある。

改善措置

②全車両、アクセルケーブルに固定金具を追加し、取り廻しを変更する。また、オイルプレッシャーホースを対策品と交換する。
