Defect
The upper panel of the fuel tank has insufficient strength. Pressure fluctuations inside the tank cause the panel to deform, and continued use causes cracks to develop at the deformed area. In the worst case, fuel leaks when the tank is full or near full.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the fuel tank. If cracks are found, replace the fuel tank with an improved unit. If no cracks are found, bond a reinforcing plate to the top surface of the fuel tank.

状況
燃料タンク上部パネルの強度が不足しているため、燃料タンク内の圧力変化により、当該 パネルが変形し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、パネルの変形部位に亀裂が生じ、最 悪の場合、燃料が満タン時等に燃料漏れが発生するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクを点検の上、亀裂が発生しているものについては燃料タンクを改良品 に交換し、亀裂が発生していないものについては燃料タンク上面に補強板を追加接着する 。
