Defect
The circuit design of the rear door open switch is inadequate. If the door is slammed forcefully while water has accumulated near the switch, the seal integrity may temporarily decrease, allowing water to enter the circuit and cause a short circuit. This may result in a half-latched door condition with the warning lamp illuminated and, in the worst case, unintended door opening.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add a relay-equipped wiring harness to the left and right rear door circuits to prevent unintended door opening.

状況
後席ドアの開スイッチにおいて、回路設計が不十分なため、当該スイッチ付近に水が溜まっている状態で極端なドア強閉を行うと、一時的にシール性が低下して、回路内に浸水し短絡することがある。そのため、半ドアとなって警告灯が点灯し、最悪の場合、意図せずドアが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、左右の後席ドア回路に意図しないドア開を防止するリレー付電気配線を追加する。
