Defect
On driver and front passenger door locks, improper process control during manufacturing causes the noise-prevention stopper rubber to be installed in a misaligned position. Repeated opening and closing of the door causes the rubber to obstruct the door lock mechanism, preventing the door from latching securely. In the worst case, the door may open while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the driver and front passenger door locks with conforming units.

状況
運転者席および助手席用ドアロックにおいて、製造工程での管理が不適切なため、異音防止用ストッパゴムがずれて組付けられたものがある。そのため、ドアの開閉を繰返すと、当該ゴムがドアロック機構の作動を阻害して、ドアを確実に閉じることができなくなり、最悪の場合、走行中にドアが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、運転者席および助手席用ドアロックを良品に交換する。
