Defect
The open switch on the rear door handle has insufficient water resistance, allowing water to penetrate the switch interior when exposed to large volumes of water such as during a car wash. Continued use in this condition may cause a short circuit inside the switch, activating it unintentionally. In the worst case, a rear door may open while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the rear door handle open switch with a corrected/revised part. As an interim measure until the corrected/revised parts are available, remove the fuse to disable the open switch and restrict door opening to manual operation only.

状況
後席ドアハンドルの開スイッチの防水性能が不十分なため、洗車等で多量の水がかかるとスイッチ内部に浸入することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、スイッチ内部の回路が短絡して作動し、最悪の場合、走行中に後席ドアが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、後席ドアハンドルの開スイッチを対策品と交換する。なお、対策品の準備が整うまで、暫定的にヒューズを取外して開スイッチの作動を停止し、ドア開を手動操作に限定する。
