Defect
The sealing bolts installed in the engine lower case were produced using improper inspection tooling management and forming methods, resulting in defective thread formation. This reduces the sealing performance of the tightened bolt. Continued use may allow engine oil to leak and contact the exhaust pipe, causing smoke. In the worst case, leaked oil may reach the rear tire and cause the vehicle to fall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the sealing bolts with conforming parts.

状況
原動機のロアケースに組み付けるシーリングボルトにおいて、検査治具の管理及び成形方法が不適切なため、ボルトのねじ部が成形不良となり、ボルトを締付けた状態でのシール性能が低下するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、エンジンオイルが漏れ、漏れたオイルが排気管に付着して発煙し、最悪の場合、オイルが後輪タイヤに付着して転倒するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、シーリングボルトを良品に交換する。
