Defect
In the emission control system, the air-fuel ratio sensor wire is improperly secured, allowing it to contact the drive chain on some vehicles. If the wire insulation is damaged, a short circuit may occur, illuminating a warning light and preventing proper air-fuel ratio control. This may cause exhaust emissions to exceed the specified limit.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the left and right air-fuel ratio sensor wires for damage and secure them with a band. Any damaged wire is to be replaced with a new part.

状況
排出ガス発散防止装置において、空燃比センサコードの固定方法が不適切なため、当該コードがドライブチェーンと干渉しているものがある。そのため、当該コードの電線被覆が損傷すると、短絡し警告灯が点灯して、適正な空燃比制御ができず、排出ガス値が基準値を超えるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、左右の空燃比センサコードの損傷有無を点検し、バンドで固定する。なお、当該コードが損傷している場合は新品に交換する。
