Defect

The auxiliary battery voltage regulator in the camping vehicle was designed with insufficient consideration, resulting in an excessive distance between the regulator output and the fuse on some units. When an abnormal current occurs, the current is not interrupted in time. In the worst case, this may result in a vehicle fire.

Corrective action

Install an additional fuse immediately downstream of the regulator output on all vehicles.

状況

キャンピング車の予備バッテリー電圧安定装置(以下、「レギュレーター」という)において設計検討が不十分なため、レギュレーター出力側からヒューズまでの距離が長いものがある。そのため、異常電流が発生した際に電流がカットされず、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、レギュレーター出力側直後にヒューズを追加する。
