Defect
On electrical wiring routed behind the headlamp, incorrect routing instructions allow the wiring to contact the air conditioning hose fitting. Road vibration can damage the wiring insulation at that contact point. In the worst case, a short circuit may occur, causing the engine to stall.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the air conditioning hose fitting area; where a wiring protection sheet is absent, install one, and repair any wiring with damaged insulation. On vehicles without a wiring retaining bracket, add the bracket and secure the wiring.

状況
ヘッドランプ後方の電気配線において、配策指示が不適切なため、エアコン用ホース口金と接触し、走行時の振動により当該配線の被覆が損傷することがある。そのため、最悪の場合、短絡してエンストするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エアコン用ホース口金部を点検し、配線保護シートがないものは追加するとともに、電気配線の被覆が損傷しているものは補修する。また、配線固定用金具がない仕様は金具を追加し、配線を固定する。
