Defect
The audio amplifier circuit design does not account for the effects of foreign material intrusion. If a short circuit occurs in an unprotected portion of the circuit, the existing protection circuit fails to respond, and the circuit board may burn. This generates flammable gas and, in the worst case, may result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
Add a fused electrical wiring harness and a metal bracket to the audio amplifier on all vehicles.

状況
オーディオアンプにおいて、回路構成が不適切なため、異物混入の影響を配慮できていない回路で短絡が発生した場合、既存の保護回路が機能せず、基板が焼損することがある。そのため、可燃性ガスが発生し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、オーディオアンプにヒューズ付き電気配線および金属製ブラケットを追加する。
