Defect
On the passenger-side mirror of light trucks, an incorrect design instruction resulted in the installation of a mirror stay shorter than specified. As a result, the rearward visibility requirement of Safety Standards Article 44 may not be met.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the passenger-side mirror assembly. If an incorrect mirror stay is installed, replace the complete mirror assembly with the correct production part.

状況
小型トラックの助手席側ミラーにおいて、設計指示が不適切なため、正規より短いミラーステーを装着しているものがある。そのため、保安基準第４４条の後方視界要件を満たさないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、助手席側ミラー一式を点検し、誤ったミラーステーが装着されたものは正規品のミラー一式に交換する。
